Rules for entry into the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (Core)
The Gypsy booking is done online and the Canter booking is done offline.
The advance booking period is 120 days.
There is no Spot booking.
Full Day Photography:
For full day photography, a maximum of 3 Gypsies per day are allowed by the Field Director as per the rates decided. The applicant has to apply to the Field Director, with valid online Gypsy bookings for either morning or evening for the day on which entry is required. The entry and exit is allowed only from the gate forwhich the applicant has confirmed booking. The applicant is allowed to enter fifteen minutes before the scheduled opening time and exit fifteen minutes after the scheduled closing time. Only Three persons excluding the driver and the guide are allowed in the vehicle.
Terms & Conditions for Booking
The booking opens 120 days before the date of entry at 0800 hrs IST.

The bookings done more than 60 days and upto 120 days in advance are at an enhanced rate and on No cancellation/No refund basis. Bookings done less than 60 days in advance are at normal rate and cancelation is allowed as per applicable terms and conditions.
Common Terms & Conditions for Booking:
For Foreigners only Passport is accepted as ID Proof.
The ID Proof details like number/type etc mentioned during booking should be complete & correct and same as in original ID Proof. Booking made by incomplete/incorrect detail of ID Proof will be treated as invalid.
Bookings are non-transferable. No addition/alteration is permissible after confirmed booking. However, change of a maximum of one name per pass may be allowed, in a genuine case, if a written request is made in the office of the Field Director at least 15 days before the date of entry.
If a booking , done less than 60 days in advance (at normal rate), is canceled more than 15 days before the scheduled date of entry, 50% of the booking amount will be deducted as cancellation charges. No refund / cancellation is permissible after that. For bookings done more than 60 days in advance (at enhanced rate), no cancellation/no refund is allowed.
Photo copy of the ID Proof is required to be submitted before entry into the Tiger Reserve.
Original ID Proof, mentioned in the booking, must be carried by all visitors during the visit.
In case of any revision in rates/taxes after booking, the visitor will be liable to pay the difference at the time of entry.
Children below the age of 8 years are allowed entry free of charge without mention in the booking.
The visitor is required to positively report for boarding Gypsy/Canter 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time at the designated boarding point. All gates will close 30 minutes after the scheduled opening time. In case of no show/late arrival, no refund/ rescheduling will be made.
The entire Tiger Reserve or any zone or zones, or a part of any zone or zones may be closed without any prior notice to visitor in case of any exigency/ emergency including causes like rains, floods, landslides, strikes, public agitations etc. However, no refunds or arrangements for alternate or additional visits will be made.
The visitors are undertaking the safari at their own risk and the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve management will not be liable in case of any accident/injury/damages to the Visitors and/or their property.
The Field Director can prohibit the use of mobile phones by visitors inside the Tiger Reserve.

Instructions to be printed on the entry pass
Any attempt to enter on fake or modified passes or those on another person’s name or impersonate any person will invite strict legal action which may lead to imprisonment and/ or fine.
The pass, along with the ID Proof, should be produced at the entry and/or when demanded by any Forest official inside the Tiger Reserve.
It is the responsibility of the persons making the reservation to ensure that all personal details provided at the time of making reservations are complete and accurate. Entry may be denied to visitors whose personal details are found to be false or incomplete in any respect.
Visitors are advised to acquaint themselves with gate timings and arrive well before the designated time to avoid any inconvenience. Timings are seasonable and change during different times of the year. Late entry will not be permitted.
Consumption of alcoholic drinks and non-vegetarian food is not permitted inside the Tiger Reserve. Visitors may not carry such products inside. All visitors entering the various ecotourism zones of Tiger Reserve agree not to be under the influence of any alcoholic, narcotic or psychotropic substances at any point of time during their stay inside the Tiger Reserve.
It is mandatory to take registered guide with each vehicle after paying the requisite fees before entry.
The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is a litter free zone. Visitors are requested to carry a garbage bag and carry all their litter outside the Tiger Reserve.
Carrying of firearms of any kind is not permitted within the Tiger Reserve.
Pets are not allowed inside the Tiger Reserve.
Visitors are not allowed to get down from the vehicle inside the Tiger Reserve except at designated places.
Smoking or lighting of any kind of fire inside the Tiger Reserve is strictly prohibited.
Driving inside the Tiger Reserve beyond designated timings and on closed trails/outside Tourism area is prohibited.
Blowing of horns, shouting and playing of music on mobiles or any other instrument is strictly prohibited within the Tiger Reserve.
Teasing or chasing animals or approaching them too closely and/or feeding them or any attempts to do so are prohibited.
Visitors are permitted entry only in specially designated vehicles registered with the Tiger Reserve Authorities and entry of any other vehicle is banned.
Maximum permissible speed inside the Tiger Reserve is 20 kmph.
It is mandatory to maintain a distance of 50 m between two vehicles inside the Tiger Reserve.
It is mandatory to maintain a distance of 20 m from any wild animal and not stay at a place for more than 15 minutes.
