Sasan Gir National Park, also known as Gir Forest National Park, is a renowned wildlife sanctuary located in Gujarat, India. It is the only place in the world where the Asiatic lions can be found in their natural habitat. Sasan Gir National Park is a significant conservation area and plays a crucial role in the preservation of this endangered species.The park is most famous for its population of Asiatic lions (Panthera leo persica).
